Just over 2 years ago we bought the first grey Buxibo for our first granddaughter. Nice little chair but the seat plate and footrest plate wouldn't stay in place. We lightly sanded the sides and glued them. A few months ago our second granddaughter was born. We bought a black one and unfortunately only put it together last week. Here too, the footrest plate and seat plate won't stay in place. The chair is high-gloss black and super smooth. Screws tightened very firmly. The 2 backrests are now torn. In the end we used velcro to make the plates fit. Sanding would have looked ugly on the high-gloss finish. Our mistake was that we waited far too long to assemble it and then had difficulty contacting the supplier. So now we have a broken highchair. But having two different highchairs doesn't look great, so now we either have to buy a second identical new one or one new black Buxibo of which I will only use the backrests. Her dilemma.

I recently bought 2 black children's chairs. They arrive very well packaged, haven't been used much yet but look very solid and sturdy. The total height of the chair is 87 cm, which is exactly what I was looking for, since I (grandma) am quite short myself. When assembling, make sure not to tighten everything firmly right away, because later you'll find that something still needs to be added in between. Pay close attention to the size when buying this. We were looking for a second grow-with-me chair for our new little one, but this is literally half the size of the other one we already have! Way too low as a grow-with-me chair at a normal dining table, so definitely not suitable for children older than 2. The tray is also super small – you can barely fit a small round children's plate on it, maybe a bowl with difficulty. So it may look nice at first glance, but it's really just a baby chair, certainly not a grow-with-me chair. Also regarding the weight limit: the description here says up to 30 kg and on the chair itself it says up to 15 kg. This had already been reported by someone earlier but I hadn't seen it, unfortunately. Better to buy a different, more durable chair!

And it's a good thing I did, because at first I was very positive: nice design like the expensive Stokke chairs, lightweight and therefore easy to move around, and no high backrest so a child can't bump the back of their head. But after a while of use, the chair legs have become loose and the 'tabletop' is very fragile. The chair feels very wobbly when you'd want it to be sturdy. So after 3 to 4 months of use, we've switched to a different chair. Such a shame...
